On Wednesday 12th June, pupils from St William’s Catholic Primary School visited us for a retreat day looking at the theme of ‘It was then that I carried you’. This is taken from the famous Footprints in the Sand poem, reminding the young people that God will always be there with them on their journeys, in particular focussing on the journey they will shortly embark on as they leave Primary School for High School. The day was filled with activities looking at ways in which they have support surrounding them, as well as helping explore how they can provide support for their family, peers and the world. A highlight was the amazing Gospel dramas the children acted out, they were very inventive!!
Good luck to all of year 6 on the rest of their journeys through school!
