On Wednesday 16th January, we were joined by year 5 and 6 pupils from St Richard’s to explore the theme of “Love Your Neighbour”, one of the most famous lines in the Bible! We started the day by looking at how we can love the neighbours that we see regularly, for example through teamwork. We then moved on to think about how we can help those people that perhaps we don’t see but are still our neighbours, looking at different charity appeals and learning new things about their classmates. Finally, we ended the day by giving the young people a chance to affirm each other and pray for somebody else in their class.
It was lovely to see the two year groups coming together, and we hope they continue to do so when they return to school!
