St. Oswald’s

On the 7th of June, a group of year 6 pupils from St Oswald’s Catholic Primary School in Ashton-In-Makerfield visited Lowe House to think about the theme “Let your light shine”, where we focused on how we all have gifts and talents and how we can use them. The day consisted of a number of activities which helped the young people explore themes such as how we are all unique, how this means we all have our own gifts and talents, how we can use those talents (and whether that is in an unexpected way) and how people can use this as an influence, before the young people reflected back on the day in a time of prayer and thanked God for the gifts and talents they have.

The day we spent with year 6 was brilliant, and we hope to work with some of you again when you start year 7!
