St. Oswald’s

On Friday 24th May, the team were joined by the year 6 class from St. Oswald’s who had been participating in the Faith in Action Award Scheme.

Over the course of the day we looked at what it means to love others and serve others as Jesus taught us to.
At the end of the day, the young people reflected on the work they had done over the past year as part of the award and completed their final pieces – one of which was a rap about sharing food with others like the young people had done during the Harvest Festival.

It was great to hear about all the hard work the young people had put in as part of the award and how it had made a difference to them and to their community.

We look forward to seeing the young people again at the Faith in Action Awards evening where they will receive their certificates from Archbishop Malcolm.
