We were recently joined by year 10 pupils from St Mary’s Crosby to explore the theme of reconciliation, focusing on Ephesians 4:32. The day started with activities that looked out how we can sometimes create more problems for ourselves and cause things to spiral out of control, as well as how things can start to get on top of us and can take a toll on both our physical and mental health. We then moved on to think about how we may act in certain situations, and how reacting in the wrong way can end up making situations worse, before listening to a testimony from Tom about how we must also forgive ourselves as it is an important part of moving forward. To end the day, we looked at sacramental reconciliation, before offering the young people the chance to receive the sacrament and reflect on the day with prayer stations.
We really enjoyed the day and look forward to working with the group again in year 11.
