Our Lady Bishop Eton

We welcomed Year 6 pupils from Our Lady’s Bishop Eton to Lowe House, at the end of May, to explore the theme ‘It Was Then That I Carried You’. We discussed the source of the theme and familiarised ourselves with ‘Footprints In The Sand’; a poem written by Mary Stevenson in the 1930s from which the well-known line originates. Through countless games, activities and discussions, we were able to get to grips with the theme together whilst having plenty of fun as the day progressed. All in all, the day was enjoyed by every team member and we can’t wait to work with the school again!
