On the 18th June, we worked with Year 6’s from St Joseph the Worker, reflecting on the theme ‘It was then that I carried you’. We were especially thinking about how they can use the support system that God has put in place around each one of them as they prepare for High School after summer. We got to grips with the theme through loads of fun activities which included putting together jigsaws, acting out gospel dramas and dropping eggs off the roof. It wasn’t all fun and games however, we also spent time in the afternoon to relax and reflect through prayer and a guided mediation which went down very well!
All in all, it was a great day and we hope that Year 6 enjoyed the day as much as we did. Good luck at High School everyone!
