RESOURCES

An active Youth Ministry is a realistic possibility for any church provided that church is prepared for it. Resourcing this ministry will need the wisdom and involvement of everyone in the Parish or Pastoral Area, working together in new and imaginative ways.

Creative approaches in our work will engage the young person’s interest and enthusiasm. Many creative techniques, with a bit of thought and sharing of ideas, are adaptable and, as a result, can be used for work with a variety of settings. Bear in mind also, that young people have a lived experience and opinions to draw upon and this ought to be valued.

It should be our aim to provide opportunities and safe places for young people to tell their story and to realise and express their own creativity, thoughts and ideas.

Here you will find a wealth of resources to assist you in your ministry, and also through further recommended links.
