Lourdes 2010 – Friday 23rd July - Saturday 31st July
The forms for the 2010 youth pilgrimage will be available to download from this website on 14th October 2009. To download a form, simply go to the Downloads page and click on the appropriate form and print!
The Archdiocesan Youth Pilgrimage to Lourdes has been running for over 35 years. Every summer more than 450 young people from the diocese make the journey over to the shrine for three things, prayer, service and friendship. Lourdes is an amazing place which can not be summed up in words, you just have to go to experience it! People come back from Lourdes a different person. They have prayed in ways they would never have done before, worked long hours with those who are sick, elderly and weak, and made some fantastic friends.
This year coaches will travel from Liverpool, Knowsley, St Helens, Leigh & Wigan, Penwortham, Warrington, Thornton, Widnes & Isle of Man and Leyland. There will also be a group known as the St Frai Team (formerly known as the Plane Team). This is made up of young adults up to the age of 25 traveling by coach (hence no longer the plane team!) and working with the sick pilgrims on more one to one care. Coach Information...
