This week, Animate welcomed Year 7 pupils from De La Salle to Lowe House to explore the ideas surrounding an ‘inclusive community’, one of the Lassalian principles. Pupils worked with all members of the team in both the Parish Hall and the Café over the last four days, to discover what it means to be a community and how each person has a role to play.
Activities were centred on the Lassalian principles; which were elements of teamwork, figuring out what their gifts and talents are and how they can use these to benefit the community. The day ended with a creative workshop to recognise the gifts that these children have to offer for the community, which will be displayed in their school chapel.
Thank you for a fantastic week Year 7, we look forward to seeing you again soon.
